Spend A Weekend With Rose Adare and Carol Queen Ph.D.

Promising a provocative one-two punch that only the most venerable of sex positive institutions could, the Erotic Heritage Museum will present a weekend of two sex educational/entertainment giants: Carol Queen Ph.D. will read from her new The Sex & Pleasure Book, signing copies and performing Saturday night August 6th at 7pm. Artist Rose Adare, will conduct an art walk thru the museum, signing her own book Restraint & Revolution on Sunday, the 7th at 7pm.

Friday night, August 5th, kicks-off the full weekend celebration of these two important ladies of sex education and expression with a reception from 7-10pm.

Good Vibrations’ Staff Sexologist and Chief Cultural Officer, Carol Queen Ph.D. Is a professional editor, writer, educator and commentator on sex and culture. She has written for The Journal of Bisexuality and The International Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality as well as authored the books, Real Live Nude Girl: Chronicles of Sex-Positive Culture, Pomosexuals, Exhibitionism for the Shy and The Sex & Pleasure Book.

Artist Rose Adare blends evocative realism and classical oil portraiture to create pieces of unequaled beauty. Documentarian, author, painter, performance artist Rose Adare’s seminal work Restraint and Revolution, broke onto the scene two years ago, with a run of installations of her multi-media work through Maui, to San Francisco and Seattle.

“We don’t get many weeks like this, presenting two of the world’s most renown educators and entertainers on sex and culture,” the museum’s Executive Director Doctor Victoria Hartmann says of this one-of-a-kind one-of-its’-kind-event. “We are honored to have both of these women presenting for us, keeping true to the museum’s commitment to educate and well as entertain from some of the world’s very best and brightest sex educators and artists.”
