ABOUT THIS GROUNDBREAKING DOCUMENTARY

Sticky: A (Self) Love Story is the world’s first feature documentary about a subject that touches us all: masturbation. After being shamed as a child by fellow students for admitting that he masturbated, writer/director Nicholas Tana, interviewed over sixty sexologist, authors, religious figures, porn stars, lawmakers, and entertainers to understand what’s so wrong with masturbation. Full of candid interviews from sex therapists, religious figures, and psychologists to celebrated figures such as former Surgeon General Dr. Joycelyn Elders, comedian Janeane Garofalo, porn star and actress, Nina Hartley, Film Threat founder, Chris Gore, comic book artist Joe Matt, “Hustler” creator, Larry Flynt, and singer/songwriter formerly of Black Flag and The Circle Jerks, Keith Morris, legendary song writer of “I Touch Myself,” Billy Steinberg, comedian ANT answer questions like: “Is it healthy to masturbate while thinking of cheating on your lover?”; “How much masturbation is too much?”; and, “Why are we so afraid to be caught in the act?”

It’s all about ‘Sex Positive’ entertainment with this carefully crafted witty film; although it can be funny, it’s certainly no joke. The important message about ending the shame and blame we all feel about the world’s most popular taboo has been recommended as an alternative form of therapy by movie critics. Everyone does it; few admit it; now there’s a movie about it!

WHY EVERYONE’S TALKING ABOUT IT

Slice, Slant News, The Daily Dot, The Daily Beast,The Black Pomegranate, Brazen Women, and Bustle, and Bugle Mag, have written rave reviews about this original, ground breakingfilm!
